ringing in 2009 with a giveaway
To start 2009 off right I have decided to have a book giveaway. You can enter to win a copy of “Cod: A Biography of the Fish That Changed the World” by subscribing to this blog via email. The book will be awarded in a random drawing of all of my email subscribers.
Here is how the contest works:
1. Click on the link below to subscribe by email, or use the form that appears in the top left column of my blog. You will receive all of my blog posts via email. I do not spam, I do not sell, and I will not use the information for evil.

2. On Saturday, 31 January 2009 ALL of my current (i.e., they are on my list on the day of the drawing) subscribers will be entered into the drawing. One email will be selected at random and will receive the book.
3. This drawing is open only to residents of the United States. This is entirely due to shipping costs.
4. You must have a working email address and must respond to email notification that you have won the giveaway within one week (7 days) of the drawing to receive your book.
5. Only those subscribers who are on my subscription list on Saturday, 31 January 2009 will be entered in the drawing.
As an added bonus: if you refer someone to medievalcooking.org and they subscribe you get one additional entry into the drawing. To get your additional entry into the drawing, you will need to send me private email - jenn(at)medievalcooking(dot)org - with your name/email address and the name/email address of the person that you referred. As stated above, I will not use this information for spam, resale, or evil.
